European Holiday in Photos

What a whirlwind the past 16 days has been! We’ve been on the go non-stop since touching down in Frankfurt on Dec 23, visiting Cologne (1 night), my uncle’s house (5 nights over three visits), Garmisch-Parterkirchen (2 nights), Zurich/Flumerserberg (2 nights), Heidelberg (1 night), Luxembourg (2 nights), and Paris (2 nights). While it’s exhausting traveling like that, it allowed me to add four new countries (we drove through and stopped in Austria and Belgium) and so many new experiences. Right now we’re hanging out in the Lufthansa Business Class lounge in Charles de Gaulle airport waiting for our flight back to the US. I feel a cold coming on and don’t have the mental energy for a full post, but here are some photos from our trip. I promise I’ll have more to say when I’ve gotten some sleep and kick this cold!
